Go Green Flash Mob

It appeared to be a fairly normal lunch hour at Central City Shopping Centre in Surrey Thursday afternoon.

Until the music started and a small group of kids suddenly shed their coats and jackets to reveal bright green shirts with the words Go Green on the front.

Then the dancing started, to Katy Perry’s hit song Fireworks. And more children joined in. And more. And more.

Soon a long stretch of our shopping centre was filled with a sea of about 580 of the green-shirted dancers, spinning and clapping and waving their arms to the song, while onlookers watched from the sidelines and from balconies above at SFU Surrey. (By Staff Writer – Surrey North Delta Leader)
