Community Clean-Up

Making a positive change in your surroundings is the first step to show the world that you care about your community.
This summer a series of community clean-ups have been planned in our area. The first clean-up has been rescheduled to take place Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 10:00am to Noon and will focus on the north part of the BIA area (University Drive and Whalley Boulevard north of 104th Avenue).
We invite all DSBIA members to be involved and show your community spirit by enhancing our area by cleaning up the streets. Volunteers from RCMP, The City of Surrey, Concord Security, Surrey Food Bank, Fraser Heights Leos Club and NightShift Ministries have already expressed an interest in participating but we would like to see more of our businesses participate as well.
Volunteers get a free T-shirt provided by Tien Sher Group of Companies as well as a free barbecue hosted by The North Surrey Lions Club at the Quattro Development on Whalley Boulevard at 107A Avenue.
Strengthening community ties is as important as cleaning up the area. But cleaning up the area is a good place to start.

We could still use more help. If you would like to participate, call Sheena at 604.580.2321 or info@downtownsurreybia.com to confirm your participation.

Date: Wednesday, May 30
Time: 10am – noon
RSVP: 604.580.2321

So come out, enjoy the sunshine and show your community spirit!
