Opening Ceremonies for BC Summer Games 2012

Thursday, July 19 marks the Opening of the BC Summer Games in Surrey. What better venue to start off the Games than an Opening Ceremony at Surrey’s Holland Park well-known as the entertainment hub for Downtown Surrey.

The pre-ceremony entertainment begins at 6:30pm with the ceremony beginning at 7pm.

Local performer, Payton Rector will be singing “Because We Dream” a song specially written for the BC Summer Games by Don Wells and Doug Johnson. The Surrey BC Games Dance Team as well as the bands “Good for Grapes” and “March Hare” will also be performing.
