City of Surrey – Community Beautification Grants

The Community Enhancement Partnership Program (CEPP) provides grants to support projects and activities that that beautify and celebrate our neighbourhoods. Residents and groups can apply for a grant to plan, organize and implement small projects, activities and celebrations as a way to improve the appearance of their community.

The applicants match the City of Surrey grant with an equal valued contribution of volunteer time, donated materials, services, and/or cash.

Literacy Building Challenge

Helping build childrens’ future with Literacy Building Challenge.

On October 20th and 21st, Lego Master Builder, Robin Sather, will recreate a large scale Lego “Jack-o-Lantern” structure in the Rotunda area by Tim Horton’s at Central City. Included in this event is a Literacy Building Challenge to raise money for the new Surrey Library. We have reached out to several companies in the community to sponsor a team and build their vision of the new downtown Surrey with a specially designated Lego kit. These creations will also be on display on October 20th and 21th, with final judging on the 21st.
