We would like to thank everyone who came out to help with our May 2013 Community Clean-up. In addition to a class from Douglas College, we had Options out to assist. Bruce Ralston, our MLA (Surrey Whalley) lent a hand as did Chelsea from Jasbir Sandhu’s MP Office. Staff Sergeant Scott Campbell borrowed a weed eater to attack some of the overgrown grass in the area. The sales team from Tien Sher (Quattro and Balance) also took time out to help with this project. At the end of the clean-up, the North Surrey Lions Club were on hand to provide refreshments.
We would also like to thank the City of Surrey for providing bags and equipment and having the engineering department pick up all the bags of garbage that was collected.
