Breakfast with the Bank

The Surrey Food Bank will be hosting their annual Breakfast with the Bank on Friday May 2nd from 7am-8am at Bombay Banquet Hall. This is the Food Bank’s only fundraiser every year that allows community members to engage and give a “hand up, not a hand out” to people that find themselves in a less fortunate circumstance.

The breakfast is one hour and includes free continental breakfast and a set program providing inspiration and information on the Surrey Food Bank. They ask that you pledge your support in order to help people like you and that are struggling with life’s challenges.

The Surrey Food Bank operates only because of the generous donations of food and money. They do not receive any government funding, and because of this, support from the community is crucial to the service they provide in our community. The Food Bank assists over 14,000 people a month with the dedication of 13 staff and hundreds of volunteers.
