Party on the Block

Let’s celebrate the community coming together at Party on the Block on June 23rd, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Grab your wheels and roll on over for a fun afternoon. From 4pm to 7pm, City Parkway, the road between 106 Ave and 107a Ave, will be closed off for the celebration. There will be skate park demonstrations at the Chuck Bailey’s skateboarding park. Bring your bikes and ride along the bike safety track. All wheels are welcome. As well, Garage 529 will be set up to inform attendees on the importance of registering their bikes.
Everyone will have the opportunity to be entered into a free raffle draw for a chance to
win one of two bike sets. Each set will include a new helmet, a new lock, and a bike catered to either the age group of 5-6 year old or 8-10 year old.

Attendees of Party on the Block can look forward to fun family activities such as bouncy castles, face painting, arts and crafts, and more! The RCMP will be there with their ATVs and police cars for photo opportunities. As well, there will be life-size table top games such as Jenga and Tic Tac Toe for everybody to play. There will be live performances all evening long for the community to enjoy.

Come out to Party on the Block and celebrate the community with us at this free event on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016.
