The Lego Batman Movie at Movies Under The Stars

For the 13th year in a row the much anticipated Movies Under the Stars is returning to Holland Park. With a great lineup of movies and entertainment beforehand, this is the best way for families to enjoy their Saturday night this August.

We will be kicking off the month of movies on August 5th with a showing of the “Lego Batman Movie” in Holland Park. Watch as this fan favourite embarks on his adventures, and get ready to meet his trusty sidekick, Robin, on the big screen. Don your superhero mask for the night! Come dressed up as your favourite superhero and strike a pose for a chance to win the costume contest. Also, stop by the crafts table to build your very own “Lego block” to take home with you.

This all-ages event is perfect for movie loving families who are looking for a fun way to end their day each Saturday in August. As always, this event is free for all to attend and enjoy. Each movie will begin at dusk. We encourage attendees to come early to grab a good spot for viewing the movies. But don’t worry, there will be entertainment and activities beginning at 5pm to keep  the crowd energized until the movies begin. All you need to bring is your lawns chairs and blankets for a night of entertainment that’s perfect for the entire family.

What goes better with a free movie than free popcorn? As always, Prospera will be on site handing out bags of popcorn to all attendees. Come early to grab a seat and bring a picnic lunch while you watch the pre-movie entertainment, or help support local charities by purchasing hot dogs and other snacks from the North Surrey Lions Club.

Movies Under The Stars is a highly anticipated event, and this year we are happy to announce that alongside featuring “Lego Batman Movie” on August 5th, we will also be showing “Sing!” On August 12th, “Moana” on August 19th, and Disney’s newest “Beauty and the Beast” on August 26th.

Movies Under the Stars in Holland Park is the perfect summer family night out! There is no better way to connect with family, friends, and neighbours, than over some popcorn and a movie under the stars.
