The highlight of the summer is BACK! Movies Under The Stars is returning to Holland Park every Saturday in August for fun filled evenings of laughter and games with the family!
Dive into Polynesian culture on August 19th with one of the hit movies of the summer, “Moana”. Susan’s Paradise of Polynesia dancers will be on site showing off their hula moves, and Surrey Sun Hang Do will do an interactive performance where you can learn some mixed martial arts.
This all-ages event is perfect for movie loving families who are looking for a fun way to end their day each Saturday in August. As always, this event is free for all to attend and enjoy. Each movie will begin at dusk. We encourage attendees to come early to grab a good spot for viewing the movies. But don’t worry, there will be entertainment and activities beginning at 5pm to entertain the crowd until the movies begin. Alongside the featured film will be live performances, free popcorn courtesy of Prospera Credit Union will be provided for all attendees. All you need to bring is your lawns chairs and blankets for a night of entertainment that’s perfect for the whole family.
Want to make it dinner and a show? The North Surrey lions Club will be hosting a barbeque with all proceeds going towards local charities.
Movies Under The Stars is a highly anticipated event, and this year we are happy to announce that we will be showing Lego Batman on August 5th, Sing on August 12th, Moana on August 19th, and Beauty and the Beast on August 26th.
Movies Under the Stars is the perfect summer family night out! There is no better way to connect with family, friends, and neighbours, than over some popcorn and a movie under the stars.
