#WhalleyWednesdays

For the past few years, the Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association (DSBIA) has been implementing different placemaking activities throughout the area. This year, we are happy to announce the beginning of #WhalleyWednesdays.

#WhalleyWednesdays are community events happening every Wednesday in July at the Grosvenor Road School Site, near King George Blvd and 108th Ave along Grosvenor Road.

These events intend to engage and strengthen the community. Each week brings a different theme:

July 4: Survey Session (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Asking people what activities they’d like to see

July 11: Chalk the Block (4:00 to 7:00 p.m.)
Chalk artist demonstration, hands-on drawings, bubbles, hoola-hoops

July 18: Kids Corner (4:00 to 7:00 p.m.)
Ring toss and Giant board games like Chess and Connect 4

July 25: Get Fit at Grosvenor (5:00 to 5:45 p.m.)
Free Zumba class by Fit for Women Gym
