Movies Under the Stars in Cars

Movies Under the Stars in 2021 will be different than in previous years. First, we will be in a different location, not Holland Park. We will only being doing one movie night. There will be no concession. You must register in advance. And the biggest change, it is a drive-in (no walk-ins allowed). A limited number of cars will be admitted.

If the PHO allows us to hold movie nights in the same way we have from 2005-2019, Movies Under the Stars in Holland Park will return in 2022.

We realize that many people look forward every year to Movies Under the Stars at Holland Park (so do we!) but we want to insure everyone’s safety and while we are in Step 3 of COVID-19 re-opening, we are planning to be extra careful. We don’t want to take a step backward after we have all been working so hard to carefully move  toward the end of the pandemic.

So … the movie this year will be Toy Story 4. In 2019, we asked attendees what movie they wanted us to show in August 2020 and Toy Story 4 was one of the top 3 requested movies.

The location will be the old Grosvenor Road School site at 13655 Grosvenor Road. Cars will be permitted onsite starting at 7:45pm and the movie starts when it is dark enough (we expect an 8:45pm start). Please try to arrive by 8:30pm.

You must register in advance through EventBrite. Click here to register. Please note: we have reached capacity and are not accepting any more registrations. However, we advise you to visit Event Brite daily – if people change their plans and cancel their registration space will open up.

We will be checking license plates as you enter so when you register, please state the license plate of the vehicle you will be driving.

The following rules will be in place:
-Cars will be allowed onto the site starting at 7:45pm. The movie starts at dusk which should be around 8:45pm.
No walk-ins.

– Everyone must remain in the car before and during the movie. You will be using your car radio to listen to the movie.
-If visiting the washroom facilities, children must be accompanied by an adult.
-When visiting the washrooms, please respect social distancing.
-There will be no concession.
-No smoking onsite.
