The highlight of the summer is BACK! Movies Under The Stars is returning to Holland Park the first four Saturdays in August for fun filled evenings of laughter and games with the family!
On Saturday, August 10 the feature is “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World”, the final chapter of “How to Train YOur Dragon.
This event is free for all to attend and enjoy. Each movie will begin at dusk. We encourage attendees to come early to grab a good spot for viewing the movies. But don’t worry, there will be entertainment and activities beginning at 5pm to entertain the crowd until the movies begin. Alongside the featured film will be live performances, free popcorn courtesy of Prospera Credit Union will be provided for all attendees. All you need to bring is your lawns chairs and blankets for a night of entertainment that’s perfect for the whole family.
Want to make it dinner and a show? The North Surrey lions Club will
be hosting a barbeque with all proceeds going towards local charities.
Movies Under the Stars is the perfect summer family night out! There
is no better way to connect with family, friends, and neighbours, than
over some popcorn and a movie under the stars.
Due to the rainy weather we are experiencing, today’s (August 7th) Movies Under the Stars featuring Wizard of Oz will be POSTPONED until further notice. We will announce the new date for Wizard of Oz when we can!
We still have THREE more movies nights every Saturday in August!
Please join us for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball next week (August 14) in Holland Park! 🙂
End those summertime activities with an annual Downtown Surrey BIA event! Movies Under the Stars is happening once again at HOLLAND PARK and should not be missed. Every Saturday in August, fun events will start at 4:30pm and the movie begins when the sun goes down. Please bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and umbrellas.
