The Bike Patrol

The bike patrol is part of the DSBIA’s ongoing efforts to address safety concerns in the area with the goal of creating a vibrant and livable downtown. In addition riding throughout the area each shift monitoring “hot spots”, they meet regularly with the Surrey RCMP and the DSBIA to discuss data they compile from incident reports and security responses.

The bike patrol observes the Downtown Surrey area for nuisance activity and responds accordingly. They encourage DSBIA members to be proactive regarding security of their premises and the safety of their employees, and can be easily identified by the markings on their yellow jackets.

If you have nuisance concerns on your property and need assistance from the bike patrol, please call the Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association from Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm at 604-580-2321. After hours (Monday to Friday between 5-7 pm and Saturday 9 am – 7pm) please contact Concord Security and ask for the DSBIA Bike Patrol at 604-689-4005.
