Enjoy a day of crafts, face painting, and games while listening to live performances by local musicians and the Downtown Surrey BIA interns while browsing local vendors from the Whalley area.
Are you ready for an afternoon with music, delicious food vendors, and local businesses?
Come out on Saturday, July 7 for the fourth annual Whalley’s Corner Community Festival. Find us at the corner of 108 Avenue and King George Boulevard from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Explore the unique history of the Whalley community. Photos and newspaper articles will give you a snapshot of Whalley’s past at the Whalley Historical Tent. There will also be a Vintage Firetruck from the Surrey Firefighters.
Want to see what your local business vendors and organizations have to offer? Visit the variety of booths at the festival for the opportunity to support local businesses and buy well-made crafts and other goods.
If you’re feeling hungry, try out one of the many ethnic food vendors that will be on site. Be sure to pick up your fresh produce at the Farmer’s Market. Visit the Kid’s Area for a chance to play fun games. Spend the day enjoying live music performances as you experience all these wonderful activities.
Come enjoy this free, family-friendly event and get to know your Whalley community.
