Gingerbread Village 2020

General Info

The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association is hosting this event for the fourth year in a row. Gingerbread Village is a fun holiday contest for individuals around the community to get creative and build a gingerbread creation of what they want to see in the Gingerbread Village. The purpose of this event is to raise money to support the Surrey Christmas Bureau by getting people to vote for their favourite gingerbread creation! All votes will be collected through online donations, every dollar donated will equal to one vote. Come visit Central City Shopping Centre from Dec. 5^th to Dec. 13^th between 11am and 6pm to check out the creative gingerbread creations and vote for your favourite one!

Who wins what:

The gingerbread creation with the most votes in each category can win up to a $500 cash prize. We will also be awarding $1000 for the people’s choice award for the gingerbread creation that has the most votes, which is the one with the most money raised. On top of that, not only do the participants get a chance of winning a prize, but those that vote and donate online will be entered for a chance to win 1 of 2 $250 Central City Shopping Centre gift card!

Please note: when choosing your favourite creation, please remember that the rules state that all entries must be edible with the exception of the base. You should keep this in mind when voting for your favourite.
