The Long Long Table

Downtown Surrey’s Long, Long Table is our signature summer event, bringing people together for an unforgettable evening of food, connection, and community under the open sky. Guests gather at one long, beautifully set table to share a five-course meal and meaningful conversations — creating memories and friendships that last long after the night ends.

Launched in 2014, The Long, Long Table quickly became an instant hit. This unique event invites people of all ages who live, work, volunteer, and learn in Surrey to sit at the same dinner table and enjoy a shared meal. Citizens who might not otherwise meet find themselves sharing stories and experiences, making it a true “friendraiser” rather than a fundraiser.
